Centrální baseballový stadion Elišky Krásnohorské
Baseballový stadion řeší již několik desetiletí neřešitelnou
otázku architektů, co si počít s tímto neorganickým a socialismem
zohyzděným náměstím. Cílem je zachovat cennou umělecko-historickou
kulisu náměstí. Jezuitskou kolej s přiléhajícím kostelem transformovat
na kabiny se zázemím, zachovat i další významné umělecké prvky Karlova
náměstí jako je socha české spisovatelky Elišky Krásnohorské.

Central Baseball Stadium
The baseball stadium would resolve an intractable problem that has been
facing architects for decades: what to do with a square lacking an organic
conception and disfigured by socialism. The aim would be to retain the
valuable art-historical backdrop of the square, transforming the Jesuit
College with its adjoining church into changing rooms and facilities while
preserving other significant artistic elements of Charles Square such as
the sculpture of the Czech writer Eliška Krásnohorská.
